Every patient at Sleights and Sandsend Medical Practice is allocated to a named accountable GP who has overall responsibility for the care and support they are provided with.
Most of our GPs work part time in the practice and they are paired; working closely with another named GP to provide full appointment availability to their patients. It means that most patients will have two GPs looking after them even though our medical records allocate you as being registered with only one – we would ask that you consider either doctor to be your GP when booking appointments.
If you are unsure who your named accountable GP or their paired GP is, please ask at reception.
You do not have to see your named accountable GP, and if you particularly wish, you can change to another GP’s list.
