We are registered with the Royal College of General Practitioners as a research practice, and we work in collaboration with the National Institute for Health Research Clinical Research Network Yorkshire and Humber.
Clinical research helps us understand how to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent health problems. Some types of clinical research are based on examining, treating and observing people with different conditions and sometimes comparing them with healthy people. We have a dedicated research doctor and nurse team who are involved in a wide range of high quality medical research.
You may be asked by your doctor, or the research team, whether you are prepared to become involved in one of our studies. There is no obligation for you to take part and if you do consent to take part you are free to withdraw at any time without giving a reason. This would not affect the standard of care you receive in any way.
